Hey all! Adventure IG is going on a Kayaking Expedition to Chek Jawa this weekend!
Age group: 12 – 25 years old!

Duration: 1 Day
Date of Expedition: 22nd Aug 2010 (Sunday)
Meeting Time & Venue: Pasir Ris MRT, 8am (tentative)
Fees: $35 (Inclusive of rental of kayaks)
Difficulty Level: Beginner – Intermediate
Length of Expedition: 4 – 6 Hours of kayaking with rest
Terrain: Rough waters, Exposure to sun

The 1 Star Kayaking Course (http://www.scf.org.sg/Awards/Personal1.html) spans over 2 days. At the end of the course, participants would learn technical skills such as planning a capsize, emptying water from kayak and other skills. Participants would also learn about the basic safety issues of kayaking.

Woodlands YEC will be supporting this event. There will be a 2-way transport (WDL CC  - ECP – WDL CC) for residents who want to join us. The bus pick up point will be at Woodlands CC and will be back the next morning. Limit to 40 participants only.
