Night cycling is slowly becoming one of the more popular activities to do at night in Singapore. Without the sun blazing down on us and the crazy traffic, cycling at night is safer and not to mention, cooling!
Come on down on 12 June to Woodlands CC and join us in exploring the heartlands in Singapore!

Meeting Location: Woodlands Community Club, lobby area beside office.
Flag-off location: Woodlands Ave 2
End Date: Sunday, 13 June 2010
End Time: 7.00am (watching sun rise is optional, might end earlier)
End Location: East Coast Park Area C
Distance: 75km (Estimated)
Duration: 8 hours (Estimated) including pit stops
Average Speed: 20km/hr (Estimate)
Rain or shine this event will not be cancelled.
COST
$8 per pax
(bicycle, helmet, lights, energy bar, a bottle of water provided)
ROUTE
The route will start from Woodlands CC, will bypass Changi then end at East Coast Park Area C.
Note: There will be a bus provided to send participants back from ECP to Woodlands after the ride. Energy bar and water provided. Bikers are not allow to use their own bike, all must be our rental bike.
FITNESS
All riders should be of a reasonable fitness level. Although we do not expect that all participants have cycled such distances before, as the objective is to challenge oneself, but a reasonable amount of fitness is expected. Having good fitness will allow you to enjoy the ride better.

Q: How many participants can take part in this event?
A: We are targetting a group size of 30.
Q: I’ve not ride so far before, I’m not sure if I can finish the ride.
A: The objective of this ride is to let riders who may not ride done this before, try out long distance cycling. The route is especially designed such that the average distance between each rest stop is approximately 10-15km.
Q: Are there rest stops available?
A: Yes, definitely. There will be a rest stop every 10-15km (approximate).
Q: Is the speed you’re going very fast?
A: The target average speed is around 10-15km/h.
