I like to stay home and do some minor projects like tuning up my computer, drafting proposals and come up with funny events, playing my guitar, going to xtreme mountain biking, and travelling to all kinds of places..
I have varied interests ranging from extreme mountain biking to reading books, from exploring the starry night sky to staying at home in my room. I cover the entire range. So I am helluva interesting guy :p Oh and btw, unlike othe,r guys, I am a hardcore amateur astronomer – not that type who invest his life stock on telescopes…
I thrive on being optimistic and pity those who dwell and drown in their pessimism. I sure like making friends and there is no such thing as having too many friends. As I am here in Woodlands YEC, I strive to improve the quality and quantity of events and activities for the youths in Woodlands!

YOYOYO WHAT’S UP PEOPLE! I’m a 24 year old IT Support Engineer with a love for adrenaline-charged adventures and stargazing. These two pursuits have brought me into YEC. Getting into YEC has allowed me to meet and mix with a bunch of strangers and bam! before I knew it – I was already bonding with a bunch of energetic youths.
I’m what one would stereotyped as a geek who loves to get his hands on all things hi-tech and digital. My other love is photography and I’m sort of the official photographer for YEC. Bah!

I joined YEC n years ago as I had lots of spare time. Fortunately, being in YEC has been and still is an enriching experience for me because of the number of friends I have made and most importantly, my life feels more wholesome and meaningful than before.

28 years old. A Primary school teacher who believes in living life to the fullest!
Enjoys playing sports – volleyball, travelling, learning new skills – sign language and volunteering (both locally and overseas)
I embarked on my first service learning trip to Chiang Mai, Thailand 3 years ago and ever since then there’s no looking back. I look forward to going there every school holidays to work with children with hearing impairment.
Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces, brings meaning to my life.
Through YEC, I hope to be able to reach out to more people and not forgetting, meeting new friends!

Sports is the area I’m more into but reality doesn’t second that. Just turned 21 recently, I’ve been slogging my life away as a finance clerk in a private company and here in YEC, where I hold the appointment of an assistant treasurer. That probably explains the dollar sign on my forehead.
Just kidding about the dollar sign.
YEC isn’t really what I want to be busy with from the start. But as cliché as it sounds, YEC adds color to my mundane working life and on top of that, I got myself a couple of new friends here too. What’s there to complain, right?

I could say she’s pretty much in sports. Yec isn’t originally what she thought it will be, but! she is willing to give it a try!!! And by doing so, to get plenty of fun in return with the rest!!

Laughter of the children, novels by Nicholas Sparks and music are some things that have become a part of me. I am constantly hungry for new experiences and often spend time pondering over issues of life and people.

Better known as Zach, I am down to earth, bubbly and adventure seeking. I am always thrilled and up for new experiences. I believe that life is really a theme park in which there are many rides to choose and ride in, and simply enjoying the thrill of the rides makes one happy and gain more experience.
I volunteer for YEC so as to get the opportunity to play a part in organizing events that will bring together the community in Woodlands.

So I’m hoping that by being in YEC, I can contribute more to the society.
Got to know about YEC through the previous chairman who used to be my schoolmate. So now I’m stuck ever since..
I spent a year as an observer and officially this year I’m running a post as the new Assistant Sports Secretary. Hoooray!
While I was an observer, I had a lot of fun learning, organizing event and got to know more people from all walks of life.
I’m sure this year with my new group, we are going to bring a lot MORE FUN to the youths of Woodlands.

Got scammed into joining YEC by a friend but other than that, it’s so far so good! I joined YEC as a publicity and new media secretary because I wanted to apply the things I’ve learnt in school to the world out of school. Other than that, I’m an advocate of social networking. Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr. You name it. I got it.
YEC’s gotta have me as the Publicity & New Media person with my awesome ideas. I’m indispensable! /evil laugh
