The adventure club will bring the youth in Woodlands out of the hectic urban life and experience adventure in local and beyond the shores of mainland Singapore. It helps to promote social cohesiveness among the youth through the adventure activities and help to bond youths of different races and religions together.
It provides an excellent opportunity for the youth/students from various schools who wish to learn and pursue adventure as their interest. The club’s driving force lies in conducting various courses and activities for the local youths.
Their objectives are to provide:
1) An opportunity to discover themselves and their environment through adventure, nature and other outdoor activities.
2) a range of adventure sports throughout the year, some of it in Offshore Islands and others in various locations in Malaysia
3) a variety of outdoor activities and workshops in or around Singapore
4) a schedule of week-end activities, workshops, adventure sports and nature-based outings that is voluntary and choice-based
5) a series of camps, treks and outbound adventures during the school holidays
